Amy Fraher
Co-Founder
Amy is a NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) Certified Personal Trainer, and retired military officer and navy pilot. She has lifted heavy for over forty years with a particular expertise meeting the unique training needs of women, retirees, and cancer survivors. Kathy is a Yoga Alliance 200 RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher) who has been practicing yoga since 2008. A retired university professor and writer, Kathy brings her teaching and creative skills to the yoga mat. She designs classes that quiet the mind while building energy and strength in the body to achieve mental, physical, and spiritual equilibrium. Annie attributes yoga to shaping her life in immeasurable ways. Taking her first yoga class 22 years ago with instructor Priscilla Humphrey not only brought the love of yoga to this then new Mom, but also introduced Annie to the Waldorf community and philosophy. Committing to a practice and falling in love with Baptiste methodology, Annie became an RYT200 and then E-RYT500, registered with Yoga Alliance.
Annie is a certified Baptiste Educator (750 hours with Baptiste Institute) and studied with her teacher Baron Baptiste at the Menla Retreat Center. She is the founder of the Sangha Yoga School and runs a 200 hour teacher training once a year with her daughter Maggie J. Skinner, co-owner.
