Our Philosophy

Our purpose at We Lift Heavy is to provide a life balance journey to strength and wellness in a safe, fun and motivating space where adults socialize and learn to exercise safely and effectively to achieve their health and fitness goals.

Our premise is simple: Everyone can—and should—lift heavy and breathe easy.

Our boutique studio is a welcoming space designed by and for adults interested in developing and maintaining a fitness and wellness routine to build strength and discover life balance.

We offer women-only small group strength training classes, yoga classes for all genders, and personal training in one-on-one sessions.

We’re outfitting the spacious, open-plan area with state-of-the-art weight training and aerobic equipment. In an adjacent, self-contained space, we’ve designed a peaceful room where you can practice yoga poses, and explore breath work and meditation.

Our Location

Situated along the river in the the historic “Threadmill”, a nineteenth century landmark building in the Pawcatuck village of Stonington, CT, our spacious studio is easily reached from towns along the Connecticut shoreline or western Rhode Island.

For your convenience, ample free parking and an accessible entryway are available.

We are located at 12 River Road, Pawcatuck, CT 06379.
